(for Live Sound Reinforcement Workshop) 1.
Who is this workshop intended for? - This workshop is for anybody interested
in getting the necessary knowledge to help them in their daily live-sound work
or fresh school leavers who wish to make live sound a career. 2.
Are there any pre-requisites for this workshop? - There are no formal pre-requisites
required. You must be physically fit, and minimum age of 18 years is required. 3.
What will be the medium of instruction?
- Currently, all instructions are delivered in English. There will be a Mandrin/Cantonese class later on in the program.

What is the duration of each workshop?

What is the class schedule like
-To be advised. 6. Can I work part-time
while attending this workshop? - A special arrangement can be made for
workshop trainees who are interested in working part-time for "sound &
light" companies to gain more experience while earning some money. 7.
How can this workshop benefit me? - While experience is still the best
teacher, we believe that experience is useless unless one can differentiate between
the right and wrong, between the good and the bad. It is important to have a point
of reference. With proper and structured training, a person will be able to learn
faster and even better. This workshop is aimed at providing basic theoretical
understanding coupled with solid practical emphasis on live sound equipment operations. 8.
How is the class conducted? - The necessary theory lessons will precede
any practical sessions; this will ensure that trainees are clear of the practical
training objectives. 9. What makes
this workshop different from other training offered? - We focus our training
on the actual needs of the industry. Students not only learn theory, but are given
practical exposure to ensure that the meet the industry's demands and requirement. 10.
Can you give examples of the practical exposures? - Apart from industry
standard equipment, creative & technical mixing sessions will include but
not limited to live band performances. Each student will be given a chance to
mix "live" during these sessions. |
